anaṅgayogipraṇītam

om namaḥ śrīvajrayoginyai

praṇīpatya jagannāthaṃ dākinījālasaṃvaram |
rahasyaṃ paramaṃ guhyāṃ likhyate'naṅgayoginā || 1||
trividhā laukikī siddhiḥ kṣarasukhena deśitā |
akṣarā tu varā siddhirjñātavya (vyā) tattvakāṅkṣiṇā || 2 ||

samayasattvakāṅkṣibhiḥ samayasattvāna (nāṃ) laukikā (ka) lokottarā (ra) siddhisādhanāya catvārī'bhiṣekāḥ śreṣṭhatvena prakīrtitāḥ |

kumbho guhyābhiṣeka śca prajñājñānābhidhānakaḥ |
punareva mahāprajñā tasyā jñānabhidhānakaḥ || 3 ||

kumbhaśabdena stanī ucyete | tayoḥ sparśanād yat kṣaraṃ kṣarasukham , sa kalaśābhiṣekaḥ | guhyāvajrapraveśād yat kṣarasukhaṃ sa guhyābhiṣekaḥ | padhme vajraspharaṇād yat kṣarasukhaṃ sa prajñābhiṣekaṃ | mahāmudrānurāgeṇa yadakṣaraṃ sukhaṃ caturtha tatpunastathābhiṣekaḥ saṃvarasiddhaye sandhyābhāṣayā coktaṃ (kto) bhagavatā |

lokottarasiddhisādhanātha catvāro brahyāvihārā bhāvanīyā maitryādikrameṇa tu | tatra trayo lokasaṃvṛtyādyuktā bhagavatā | premātiśayena kumbhasya sparśanād maitrī | guhyo vajrapraveśāt tataḥ samadhikatayā karuṇā | muditā hṛṣṭacittatayā padhme vajrasphāraṇāt | upekṣā iti aśeṣakalpanākalaṅkāpagamanāt | śuddhalaukikalpalyā (lya) rtha ca taccaturtha lokottaramiti nispandasukhatvād [iti] bhagavato niyamaḥ | tathā coktam

paramākṣarayogena sādhayet siddhimuttamām |
sādhite cittavajre tu tannāsti yanni (nna) siddhayati ||

dvividhaṃ cittavajraṃ tu piṇḍacittaṃ prakāśaṃ ceti | piṇḍacittaṃ karmamudrādhyānam , prakāśaṃ mahāmudreti | etacca sadgurupadeśato'vagantavyamiti |

saṃdhī (dhā) rya mūlapadhmendu (nduṃ) kuṇḍalī mahayogataḥ |
cittaṃ vicitratāmeti gurupadaprasādataḥ ||4 ||

laukikasiddhisādhanāya trividhā lokasaṃvṛtti (ti) rityukta | bhagavatā ekasminneva vajradehe ekatraivānande ānandāśrcatvāra upadarśitāḥ | tatra kāyānandaḥ (nda) vāgānandaḥ (nda) cittānandaḥ (nda) jñānānandaḥ (nda) bhedeneti | evaṃvidhabindavo'pi jñātavyāḥ |

iha trividhaḥ kṣarasukhanayo varṇītaḥ | amṛtāsvādane samaya sevādikena ca laukikasiddhisadhanayeti | iti bhagavato niyamaḥ | ata evoktam ''caturtho jñānasaṃśuddhiḥ kāyavakcittasaṃśodhakaḥ '' iti | tatha coktam

darśanasparśanābhyāṃ ca śravaṇasmaraṇena ca |
mucyate sarvapāpaistu evameva na saṃśayaḥ ||

udghāṭanīyaguhyāsaṃvaraḥ sandhyābhāṣayā coktaṃ (ktaḥ) | darśanamiti cumbana maliṅganam | sparśanamiti kamale vajrapraveśanam | śravaṇamiti kuliśasphālanena yat kṣaraṃ sukham | smaraṇamiti guruvacanaiḥ saha mohitaḥ ? ato mucyate sarva

pāpaistu evameva na saṃśayaḥ | samayasyākhaṇḍanādakṣara sukheneti bhagavato niyamaḥ | tatha coktamabhidhānottare "samāhito japenmantraṃ samayācārata [tpara]ḥ'' prāṇāyāḥ sphāraṇaṃ bodhicittasya buddhabimbaṃ (mba) sphāraṇamiti | " tatpunastatheti , tatpunastatheti , akṣarāṇi (di)spandādi guṇairmuktaścaturtha [sa] tatpunastathāśabdena sahajā (ja) mityuktaṃ bhagavatā | iha laukikī siddhiriti | pātāla bhūcara khecara laukikaśabdena yatkiñcit sādhyate, tatsarva laukikasiddhiphalam adhamamadhyamottamamiti | tasmat ki te [na] sādhitena , yena jātijarāmaraṇakṣayahetubhūtaṃ buddhatvaṃ na bhavati yoginām | ata eva kāyasiddhirbhavatinī yati (rbhāvanīyeti ) bhagavatoktā (ktam) |

antargatena manaseti | idaṃ vajrapade ca pañcavidhā (daṃ ca pañcavidhaṃ ) trisāhasrike śrīsamāje buddho bhagavānāha

vajraparyaṅkataścittaṃ maṇyantargatamīkṣe (kṣaye) t |
niṣpandādi sukhāpūrṇa vaimalyaṃ yāvadeti tat ||

tathā coktam

bhage liṅgaṃ pratiṣṭhāpya bodhicittaṃ na cotsṛjet |
bhāvayed buddhabimbaṃ tu traidhatukamaśeṣataḥ || iti ||

ihānena gāthādvayenāsya vajrapadasya piṇḍārtho'vagantavya iti | vajraparyaṅkaśabdena saṃdhyābhāṣayā padhmamityuktaṃ bhagavatā | tasmin maṇyantargatamiti | vajrasya maṇau madhye catubinddhātmakaṃ cittavajraṃ yadā bhavati , tadāvajraparyaṅkataścittaṃ maṇyantargata mityucyate | nispandādiśabdena sandhābhāṣayā svā|||||bhaprajñāyāmamṛtakuṇḍalyā''

śleṣitaṃ ṣoḍaśānandātmakaṃ sukhamaya [ma] avadhūtyāṃ saṃdhāraṇena nābhihṛtkaṇṭhalalāṭo ṣṇīṣakamalaparyantaṃ yāva [de] toti vaimalyaṃ yāvadeti | tada (bhya) syāyamartha iti | catuṣpīṭhe coktam '' mantrādātmapīṭham , ātmapīṭhātparapīṭham , ātmapīṭhātparapīṭham , parapīṭhāttattvapīṭham , yāvadeti taditibodhicittam avadhūtyāṃ saṃvareṇa iti padasaṃcārakramaḥ | '' śrīcakrasaṃvare punargāthādvayenoktamiti |

iha maṇyantantargataṃ tyajya bodhicittamantargataṃ mana ityucyate | tenāntargatena manasā acyutabodhicittena karmamudrāprasaṅgena jñānamudrāprasaṅgena sthiracarasvabhāvātmakaṃ sarvākaravaropetaṃ bhāvayedaśeṣatai (to) yogī | tadeva prajñāpāramitā sarvākāravaropetā śunyatā ca , sā śrīsaṃvarottare kāmasiddhirityuktā bhagavatā , prajñātantratvāditi | ata evoktaṃ bhagavatā '' paramākṣarayogena mahāmudrāṃ vibhāvayet '' |

tathā cāha " kāmasidhi vibhāvayeda yogī'' | kāmo mahārāgaḥ | sa eva vajrasattvaḥ paramākṣarasukha iti | tathā ca vajrapāṇiṃ bhagavānāha '' cutikṣaraṇā (ṇa) nirodhena buddhatvaṃ sarvadehinām |'' ato jagati jarāmaraṇanirodha iti | tathā coktaṃ vajragarbheṇa '' pūjāvidhirmulatantroktaḥ yathā prajñopāyavidhānena pūjayed yogavit sadā '' ( a|si| 57 , he| taṃ| 1|52 ) | yoga iti caṇḍālī śuklayoraikyam | tasmāttannivartate | [ta] mīśvaraṃ tato brahyācaryeṇākṣarasukhena prajñopāyavidhānena pūjayed yogavit sadā sarvasminneva kāle'cyuta sukheneti | '' sevitavyā [ḥ] prayetnena yathā bhedo na jāyate | '' (he|taṃ| 15|3 ) bhede nītārthe śukracyavanamiti samayabhedena nirayagamanamityuktaṃ bhagavatā svayaṃ śrīcakrasaṃvare ādibuddhe ca

cyutehi (rvi) rāgasaṃbhūtivirāgāt duḥkhasaṃbhavaḥ |
duḥkhādvātukṣayaṃ puṃsāṃ kṣayānmṛtyuriti smṛtaḥ ||

kimataḥ paraṃ nirayagamanamiti | tathā coktaṃ hagavatā cakrasaṃvare '' saṃvṛtyā satvā adhoretasaḥ , vivṛtyā ūdhrvaretasaḥ '' | ''brahyā nivarti ( vṛṃti ) to buddhaḥ '' (he| taṃ| 1|5 13) | dhātvāśrāvatvāt svaṃśarīre kṣayād brahyo nirgamābhāvād brahyā vairocano buddho bhaṇyate | ''vināśād (viṣaṇād) viṣṇurucyate '' | mūtra dhātoraśrāvatvāt svaśarīre viśanā (ṣaṇā) d bāhyo nirgamābhāvād buddho viṣṇurucyate | ''śivaḥ sadā sukalyāṇāt '' iti | kalyāṇamaṇḍala śīlaṃ (la) śukrasya cyavanābhāvād buddhaḥ śiva ucyate | ''sarvaḥ sarvātmani sthitiḥ (taḥ) iti | sarvo ratnasaṃbhavaḥ , sa eva raktadhātustasya cyavanābhāvād duḥkhasyābhavaḥ | ataḥ ''sukhaduḥkhāntakṛnniṣṭhā vairāgyamupadhipakṣayaḥ '' |

sarvātmani sthito divyacakṣuṣā paracittajñānavyāpakatvād buddhaḥ sarva ucyate | etatsarva gurupādaṃ paryupāsya krameṇa jñātavyamiti bhagavato niyamaḥ | satata (taṃ) paṇḍitā bhimānaṃ tyakatvā sadgu [ru] sampradāyena sandhyābhāṣadikaṃ tu veditavyamiti bhagavato niyamaḥ | ato hevajroktā ṣaḍaṅgabhāvanā kṛṣṇa rakta pīta harita nīla śuklamiti '' ṣaḍaṅgabhāvanāyogād yogī viramāntaṃ punastatheti '' ( he| taṃ| 1|8|24 ) | tathā coktam ṣaḍaṅgabhāvanayā nūnaṃ vajradharatvaṃ siddhayati | śrīsamājottare bhagavānāha

pratyāhārastathā dhyānaṃ prāṇāyāmaśca (mo'tha) dhāraṇā |
anusmṛtiḥ samādhiśca ṣaḍaṅgo yoga iṣyate || (18|140)

atra pratyāhāraśabdena traidhātukabuddhabimbadarśanam | kuṇḍalyā saha yogataḥ | atrāmṛtakuṇḍalīsaṃjñayā sandhyābhāṣānte vā svarityukto bhagavatā | asya piṇḍārtha sadgurupadeśato'vagantavya iti | dhāraṇādikena tu | tato dhyānaṃ nāma śūnyeṣu sarvabhāveṣu cittapravṛttiḥ | vitarko nāma bhāvagrahaṇaṃ cittasya | vicāreṇa (ro) nāma

bhāvaprakāśaḥ | pritītirnāma sarvabhāveṣu cittāropaṇam | acalaṃ sukhaṃ nāma sarvabhāvebhya sukhasampattiḥ | cittasyaikāgratā nāma bimbena sa [ha] cittasyaikīkaraṇamiti |

evaṃ pañcadhyanāṅgamucyate

vitarkaśca vicāraśca prītiścaiva sukhaṃ tathā |
cittasyaikagratā caitra pañcaite dhyānasaṃgrahāḥ || (gu| sa| 18|143)

tataḥ prāṇāyāmo nāma lalanāvāmadakṣiṇamarganirodhaḥ | ayameva vasanta kālaḥ | avadhūtīmadhyamāṅge prāṇavāyoḥ samapravṛttiriti | tatranilayogenāvadhūtyāṃ saṃcāra iti | tasya omkāreṇa uccā (cchvā) saḥ , āḥkāreṇa niḥśvāsaḥ | om huṃ kāreṇa nirodhaścandraravirāhusvabhāvena kurute yogī | iti prāṇāyāmāṅgamucyate |

tato dhāraṇā nāma prāṇasya māhendravāruṇāgnivāyumaṇḍalā (le) nābhau ktiścaiva (hṛdi kaṇṭhe) lalāṭe praveśaḥ | na bāhyānirgamaḥ | indau prāṇapraveśanamiti dhāraṇāṅgamucyate |

tato'nusmṛtirnāma sveṣṭadevatādarśanaṃ pratibimbākāraṃ vikalparahitaṃ tasmādane karaśimasphuradūpākāraṃ prabhāmaṇḍalam | tato'nekākārasphuradrapāṃ (paṃ) traidhatukaṃ sma (spha) raṇamiti , anusmṛtyaṅgamucyate |

tataḥ samādhirnāma iṣṭadevatānurāgād yadakṣarasukhaprāptiḥ , tasyāmekīkaraṇam | grāhyāgrāhakatāvirahitaṃ cittaṃ samādhyaṅgamucyate tathāgateḥ | iha ṣaḍaṅgabhāvanāyoge [ne] ti saṃkṣepeṇoktam , vistareṇa abhidhārnaparamādyatantre ca sadgurupadeśato'vagantavya iti yoginīmahāmudrāsiddhayarthineti

ṣaḍaṅgaṃ bhāvayed yogī svādhiṣṭhānamahaniśam |
drutaṃ siddhimavāpnoti uktaṃ vajrabhūtā svayam || (he|ta| 1|8|24)

atra bhagavataḥ pratijñā

sarvacintāṃ parityajya dinamekaṃ parīkṣayet |
yadi na syāt pratyayo'tra tadetanme mṛṣā vacaḥ || iti ||

tatra pratyayo dhūmādinimittam | prathamaṃ dhūmanimittam , dvitīyaṃ marīcikākāram , tṛtīyaṃ khadyotākāram , caturtha pradīpo (pa) nimittam , pañcamaṃ nirabhragagana sannibha [ma] iti |

māyājālasamādhipaṭale prokttaṃ proktaṃ bhagavatā , tadyathā

gaganodbhavaḥ svayambhūḥ prajñājñānānalo mahān |
vairocano mahādīptirjñānajyotivirocanaḥ ||

jagatpradīpo jñānolko mahātejāḥ prabhāsvaraḥ |
vidyārājogramantreśo mantrarājo mahārthakṛt || (nā| saṃ , 61-62)

iti gāthādvayenāparaṃ nimittaṃ bhagavatokta sandhyābhāṣayā | nirabhragagana pratibhāso yo bhavati sa gaganodhbhavaḥ | svayambhūḥ sarvavikalparahitacittatvāditi | atra prajñājñānānalo jñānapratibhāsaḥ | vairocano mahādīptiriti candrapratibhāsaḥ | sa eva jñānajyotivirocanaśca | jagatpradīpa iti suryapratibhāsaḥ | jñānolkā iti rāhupratibhāsaḥ | mahātejāḥ prabhāsvara iti sūryapratibhāsaḥ | jñānolkā iti rāhupratibhāsaḥ | mahātejāḥ prabhāsvara iti vidyutpratibhāsaḥ | vidyārājo'gra mantreśa iti cittapratibhāso nīlavarṇacandramaṇḍalākāraḥ | mantrarājo mahārthakṛditi sarvākāra traidhātukapratibhāso māyāsvapnapratibhāsena tulyo dṛyate yoginī (nā) pratyāhāreṇa | āṣṭau mahānimittāni bhagavato niyamaḥ | tathā coktaṃ ḍākinījāla

saṃvare bhagavatā

" sidhyat () aśeṣaniḥ śeṣatraidhātukasthitānā devadaityamanuṣyāṇāṃ prāṇiṣu sarveṣu yāvanto dehinaḥ () iti , ''ṣaḍaṅga bhāvayed yogī '' iti ca bhagavato niyamaḥ |

punaścoktaṃ vajrapañjare

ṣaḍaṅgaṃbhāvayet tasmat svā[dhi] ṣṭhānasamaṃ tataḥ |
sarvāṅgasundaraṃ ramyaṃ sarvāsaṅga vivajitam ||

ramyaṃ tu ḍākinīcakraṃ svādhiṣṭhānaṃ mahādbhutam |
yadudeti kṣaṇenaiva gurupādaprasādataḥ ||

sarvabuddhasamāyogaḍākinījālasamvare śrīvajrasattva saṃyogakalpa dvitīyo (ye) 'pyuktaṃ bhagavatā

svādhiṣṭhānād bhavatyeva sarvabuddhasamāgama itī |
bodhicittaṃ sadāraktaṃ duḥkhanirvatihetukam |
anyathā hi na buddhatvaṃ kalpa saṃkhyeyakoṭibhiḥ ||
tāttvikā durlabhā loke anye vā''varṇa (varaṇā)thitāḥ (naḥ) |
āvaraṇaprahāṇāddhi yoginaste'tidurlabhāḥ ||

tathā coktamāryavasubandhupādaiḥ

'' āvaraṇaparicchedo hi bodhiḥ | trīṇyāvaraṇāni kuśalānutpādaḥ , aparipūrṇasambhāratā , amanasikāratā ca | tatha saddharma agocaram , lābhasatkārapūjāyāṃ gauravam , sarveṣu akāruṇyaṃ ceti | ''

punaścoktam ''apratiṣṭhitanirvāṇamapyāvaranaṃ bodhisattvagotrāṇām '' iti | tathā mokṣābhilāśo (ṣo)'pi bodhisatvānāmāvaraṇamiti vistaraḥ | tathā ratnacūḍādimahāyānasūtre coktaṃ bhagavatā ''sarvākāravaropetā śūnyatā bhāvanīya yoginā '' iti | tasyāmapi sarvākāravaropetāyāṃ śūnyatāyāṃ yadyabhiniveśaḥ syāt , idameva tattvasāramityākāreṇa , so'pi dṛṣṭernarakagamanaheturiti | tathā coktam ''yaśca śānta matiḥ sattvadharmasamatāṃ jānāti , na sa dharmān vā adharmān va abhiniveśa (viśe) ta | anabhiniveśo dharmāṇāmarthaḥ | yaścārthamatyete (ti) sa evāsya mahānarthaḥ '' iti | evaṃ cet , mokṣārambho vyarthaḥ syāt | etad bhagavato hṛdayo (yaṃ) nābhijñā (jña) sya vacanam | bandhamokṣa ityudbhāvanā saṃvṛtyā vā tat tattvato na mokṣa iti | tathā coktam

baddho na mucyate loke abaddho naiva mucyate |
baddhābaddhavinirmukto nānyo [vā] stoha tattvataḥ ||

tathā coktam
tasmāda [na] nyathābhāvaḥ svabhāvo yadi (na ) vidyate |
kathaṃ syādanyathābhāvā (vo) bhāvaścennaiva vidyate ||

svavikrāmiṇaḥ pṛcchāyāṃ coktam " ye ca svavikrāmino (ṇo) bodhisattvā mahāsattvā na vikalpayanti , astyasau bodhirnām padārtho yasyārthāvayavamudyukto dūre teṣāṃ bodhisattva [ḥ] | visaṃvādayanti te sadevamānuṣāsura lokaṃ bodhisattvā na ca vistaraḥ |
ityevaṃ nādaret | asti nāsti cobhayaṃ pratisi (ṣi) ddhaṃ bhagavatā bhāvābhāvavibhā vinā | tathā coktam

śūnyatāṃ ye na jānanti na te jānanti nirvṛtam |
tasmāddhi śunyatā jñeyā bhāvābhāvavibhāvinā ||

uktaṃ ca
śubhāśubhavikalpānāṃ santaticchedalalakṣaṇā |
śūnyatā gaditā buddhainanyit (nyā vai) śunyatā matā || iti |

tathācoktam
śūnyatā sarvadṛṣṭīnāṃ proktā niḥśaraṇa jinaiḥ |
yeṣāṃ tu śūnyatādṛṣṭistānasādhyān babhāṣire || iti |
gurubhakti [ra] to nityaṃ nityaṃ ca karuṇāśayaḥ |
mantrapūjāva (ra) to nityaṃ siddhayatyeva na saṃśayaḥ ||
ato bodhiṃ parāṃ yānti kālenaivādisādhanam |
kuśalamutpādayitavyaṃ gurupāramparyavekṣaṇena || iti ||

tathā coktam vajrasattvasaṃbuddhai nanyit (nyā) śūnyatā gaditā | (śunyatā) ato hi samantabhadrasya deśanā

ākāśayava yogena gṛhlanti jñānasāgarāḥ |
atha vajradharo rājā mahāsukha vivardhanam ||
samaya deśayet sarva buddhatvaphaladāyakam |
sukhairhṛṣṭai stathā nṛtyairgītavādyaivikurvaṇaiḥ ||
gandhamālyavilepanaistu vidyārājaḥ prasiddhayati |
yathā sukhaṃ sukhaṃ vādye yathārucitaceṣṭītam ||
yathāhāravihāro'pi siddhayate paramākṣaram |
khānapānaprayoga (gai) stu divyālaṅkārabhūṣaṇaiḥ ||

siddhayate paramaṃ tattvaṃ dinenaikena coditaḥ |
nityaṃ svasamayaḥ sādhyo nityaṃ pūjyāstathāgatāḥ ||

nityaṃ ca guravedeyaṃ tasmād buddha (tva) samo guruḥ |
yathā vairocano nāthastathā vajradharo guruḥ ||

yathākāśo mahārā (gaṃ) jo vajradharmo mahāmuniḥ |
samantarājo yathā nāthastathācāryaḥ pragīyate ||

tasmātsarvaprayatnena vajrācārya mahāgurum |
pracchannavarakānyāsaṃ nāvamanyāt kadācana ||

punarapyuktaṃ vajrapañjare

gurośchāyāṃ na laṅghayed [guru] patnīṃ ca pādukā [m] |
ye laṅghayanti sammohāt te narāḥ kṣuradhāriṇaḥ ||

sva (su) siddho'pi yadā śiṣyo gurorājñāṃ na (tu) laṅghayet |
iha loke bhavetkuṣṭhaḥ (ṣṭhī) paraloke narakaṃ vaset ||

māyā śāṭhayaprayogeṇa mithyābhaktiprakāśanāt |
kṣayakuṣṭhamahārogī jāyate narakādiṣu ||

evaṃ matvā sadā śiṣyo gurorbhaktiparāyaṇaḥ |
sādhayet vipulāṃ siddhi gurorājñāṃ praṇayata (jñāprapālanāt) ||
